E	1.2	Deer Canyon, Sandstone Trail, T intersection	TURN RIGHT onto Sandstone Trail
F	1.3	Sandstone Trail, T intersection (straight or to the right)	Do not turn right, CONTINUE STRAIGHT (onto Diamond View, although it may not be labelled as such here)
	-	Diamond View switch back	Follow the marker and TURN RIGHT (the trail does continue straight)
	-	Diamond View Trail	Follow the trail, it follows the canyon, and heads uphill to the playground clearing. TURN LEFT to head towards the playground entrance
G	1.9	Playground/Five Canyons	Playground has a water fountain and restrooms. TURN LEFT onto Five Canyons as you leave the parking lot
H	2.2	Five Canyons/Shady Canyon Trailhead	Shady Canyon Trail intersects Five Canyons. TURN RIGHT, cross Five Canyons (be careful) and continue on the trail. Trail follows the back of some houses and then plunges downhill.
I	2.6	Shady Canyon T-Intersection	Shady Canyon Trail turns right or straight. CONTINUE STRAIGHT.
J	2.8	Shady Canyon T-Intersection	Turn RIGHT onto Newt Pond Trail going up the hill (can't remember if it's labelled Newt Pond Trail here).
		Newt Pond Trail	Pass through the cow-gate, continue straight at the first T intersection. The trail will end at a T
	3.3	Trail T-Intersection	At the deadend T, turn LEFT
	3.3	Follow this trail	Spectacular views of the Bay, continue on this trail (there are a couple of small trails that branch off to the left; stay right). Go through the cow-gate.
L		Water Tower Road	The course goes past water towers, and continues down an asphalt path. Be alert for the trail (Chabot to Garin) that goes to the right, past a footbridge.
M	4.7	Chabot Garin Trail/Five Canyons	Through another cow-gate, continue until this trail ends at Five Canyons. CROSS FIVE CANYONS VERY CAREFULLY and pick up the trail on the other side. (Second pic is looking back at the trail from Five Canyons)
N		Chabot Garin Trail/Five Canyons	Once on the other side, TURN RIGHT onto Five Canyons Parkway, and follow the markers.
O		Five Canyons/ Asphalt Path to Rancho Palomares Dr	There will be a trail marker indicating to TURN LEFT onto an asphalt path up to Rancho Palomares Dr.
	4.9	Small Playground	The path takes us to a small playground with a working water fountain.
	5.0	Deer Canyon/Boulder Canyon intersection	The trail crosses Boulder Canyon with a prominent trail entrance on the other side.
	5.2	Deer Canyon/Canyon Terrace intersection	The trail crosses Canyon Terrace and continues on the other side.
	5.3	Deer Canyon/Shady Canyon intersection	Deer Canyon comes to a T-intersection after a small creek crossing. TURN RIGHT to continue on Deer Canyon
P	5.4	Deer Canyon/Rec Center Dr intersection	TURN LEFT onto Rec Center Dr
Q	5.4	Rec Center Dr/Five Canyons	TURN RIGHT onto Rec Center Dr
R		Five Canyons/Woodbury	CROSS FIVE CANYONS CAREFULLY, TURN LEFT onto Woodbury Dr
		Woodbury/Crestfield Circle	TURN RIGHT onto Crestfield Circle
