The Daughter of the One, True Spider-man!

I've really enjoyed the new Spider-girl series. It brings me back to the old days of reading about her pop, when I first started reading comics. Back then, Peter Parker's life was much simpler, without a super-model wife, and lavish NY apartments. But, he also didn't need gimmicks like clones, or the return/death of his parents/Aunt May, etc, etc.
May "Mayday" Parker here was made from an Alpha Flight Vindicator. Her mask was sculpted on using Premo. I attempted an earlier version where I sculpted the weblines directly into the head, along with the eyes. It turned out wonderfully, however, what didn't turn out well was my attempt at engraving the weblines into the body using a Dremel. So I went for something a bit simpler.

The weblines were drawn on using a pen, and took several attempts before I was happy with the results. And then I sprayed her with Dull-Cote, and felt my heart sink as the spider emblem (the only part I drew using a Sharpie) smear down the figure. I fixed her up again, but I still prefer the pre-Dull-Coted version.
